Mouseman Price Guide for Smaller Items. Robert ‘Mouseman’ Thompson was a British woodworker who found fame in the early 20th century for his furniture featuring mice. A talented carver, Thompson began incorporating mice into his work in the 1920s as a signature motif. His furniture soon became highly sought-after, and he went on to open his own workshop in Kilburn, Yorkshire. There, he and his team produced a range of handcrafted tables, chairs, dressers, and other pieces of furniture adorned with mice. While some criticized his work as childish or whimsical, others praised it for its originality and craftsmanship. Today, Robert ‘Mouseman’ Thompson is remembered as one of Britain’s most distinctive furniture makers.
