This is a very early tin plate Japanese Diving Submarine made by CK Kuramochi. It has its original box with some very nice imagery of the submarine at sea. This example is missing a plug to the rear and a flag at the back. The flag is actually a Union Jack. The general market for tin plate toys is on the increase and especially early Japanese tinplate. Prices for mint examples are many times higher than lesser models.
