September 1998 is National Cherished Teddies Club Month. Stop by your local participating retailer and show your national club card and receive a free Cherished Teddies bookmark. Also the Cherished Teddies Bean Bag Plush, Sara, Jacki, and Karen have begun to arrive in stores. The plush are to be a free gift when you make another Cherished Tedddies purchase.

Tanna, Marty, Cole, and Miranda have also started to arrive in stores. These four Cherished Teddies are the first figurines that will feature “Rare Bears”. Rare Bears will be randomly put into stores shipments at the factory. They will be unique in some way-they may have a different fur color, be made from different materials, signed by Priscilla Hillman and so on. They will feature a special symbol on their understamp which is a diamond with the letter R inside.

Several of the four 1998 Fall Catalog Exclusives are beginning to arrive in stores. The four exclusives are Frank and Helen, Evan, Joseph, and Clarence. Also coming out this Fall will be a Canadian Cherished Teddies Exclusive
named Cameron. He will only be available in Canada and he is due to arrive late October. This figurine depicts a bear dressed in bluejeans standing over a beaver. He is a must have.
Avon exclusive Margy
Avon will also feature a new Exclusive, her name is Margy. She is a Christmas figurine. This figurine depicts a bear wearing a bow around her neck and there is a present sitting in front of her. So call your Avon Rep today to order her.

In 1999 there will be three Adoption Center Exclusives Cherished Teddies. The first named Paul will ship to retailers late December 1998 and will be available the first of January 1999. Paul is dressed in a winter hat and scarf and is surrounded by birds. The other two Adoption Center Exclusives are going to be announced later this year. We also know that the 1999 Regional Event figurine is named Tammy. She is dressed in a sweater and a 60’s style skirt with a poodle on it. The locations for the 1999 Regional Events will be announced in the October Town Tattler.
