The much anticipated first Harmony Kingdom UK Event piece has been revealed and include Calvesbert Menagerie and Layed Back. The event is the first for a number of years and will be held on the 8th September.

Andrea Calvesbert says of the event and pieces “We are excited to be hosting the first UK Harmony Kingdom event for many years in our home village and are looking forward to welcoming some familiar faces amongst collectors as well as some newer ones on September 8th. We wanted the event pieces to reflect this personal involvement and also bring enjoyment to our collectors so Pete settled on something which is a large part of family life for us and many of our collectors too – our animals!”

“On the Treasure Jest piece Calvesbert Menagerie, we have Red taking centre stage. He is my beautiful big collie dog – although I think he is half bear too from the size of him. Sitting with him are Bart, our border terrier, Ted the cat, Roger and Munchkin, the guinea pigs, two hens (Millie tells me these are Rhianna and Puffle) and a couple of fish – they live in our garden pond. Event attendees may get to meet some of the stars of this piece but beware – there wouldn’t be such harmony as is shown on this piece if they were that close together in real life!”

“The pendant is again based on our own hens. They live in our garden and make us laugh on a daily basis with their funny personalities. We have had a couple of big events in hen terms this summer – three of them won prizes at a poultry show in June and one (Scratch) hatched our first chick so a hen pendant seemed very relevant. ”
