Bearnes Hampton & Littlewood forthcoming 20th Century & Contemporary auction on September 13th includes a lot of Three James Powell & Sons Whitefriars glass ‘Drunken Bricklayer’ vases: after a design by Geoffrey Baxter in Kingfisher blue, Meadow Green and Tangerine. The pictures they have taken for the lot is amazing and are the best ever photographs I have seen of the classic Whitefriars Drunken Bricklayer Vases. They show them in group form as a wall, and separately.
