Tony Carter of Carters Teapots is one of the first designers to produce a collectable for the birth of Prince George. Tony Carter has created a large size teapot as well as a one-cup teapot.
Tony Carter says “I decided on a 1950s style pram because that was used for earlier Royal babies and I wanted to reflect this. The waving of the Union flag from the Royal baby in the pram is I hope reflecting the importance of the Royal birth, whilst acknowledging this is our future King. The back ground sky is a lovely blue with puffy clouds – a perfect English summers day. On the reverse image a teddy has fallen from the pram waiting to be picked up by the baby’s mother-or Father.”
