Lisa Larson for Gustavsberg Poodle right facing
The Poodle figures were designed in 1963 as part of the “Pudlar” (Poodles) series. They were available as a pair and could face each other like Victorian Staffordshire poodles. Each poodle was hand painted so are all unique in some way. The are made of white stoneware with light blue glaze and hand painted dark blue decoration. This right facing example sold for £50 at Wessex Auction Rooms, February 2019.
