Beswick Girl on Jumping Horse No 939
The Beswick Girl on Jumping Horse is a classic model designed by Arthur Gredington. The model shows a girl on horse jumping a small fence. Interestingly the horse and jump part of the model is also used in the Beswick model 982 of a Huntswoman Jumping. The model was first introduced in 1941 and discontinued in 1962.
As with most figurines the prices have come down from earlier highs. In the late 1990s the piece was selling for £200-£300 and now a perfect example of Beswick Susie Jamaica is selling for £60-£100.
