What makes some quad posters worth thousands are most worth less than a hundred? This Batman quad poster sold at Bonham’s (London) Entertainment and Memorabilia auction in December 2016 for £5,625 inc. premium. This Batman quad poster is from 1966 and features the iconic Batman characters from the TV series starring Adam West and Burt Ward.
It is also designed by one of the great movie poster designers Tom William Chantrell who designed some 7,000 of them. Tom William Chantrell designs also included posters for Hammer films, Carry On films, The King and I, Von Ryan’s Express, One Million Years B.C., The Anniversary and Star Wars.
