Bairstow Pottery continue their British Prime Ministers Collection with the release of the Rishi Sunak Toby Jug. The release is not long after the short lived tenure of Liz Truss who also had her own Toby Jug. Rishi Sunak is presented in a dark blue suit, white shirt and blue tie.
The Rishi Sunak Toby Jug is being released in a Limited Edition of 1500 and is priced at £29.99.
About Rishi Sunak
Rishi Sunak, the British Prime Minister, took office in 2023 after a noteworthy political career. Born on May 12, 1980, Sunak attended both Oxford University and Stanford University, eventually obtaining an MBA from Stanford. Prior to entering politics, Sunak worked in the finance sector, with positions at investment firms such as Goldman Sachs and The Children’s Investment Fund.
Sunak’s political journey began in 2015 when he was elected as the Conservative Member of Parliament (MP) for Richmond in North Yorkshire. In 2018, he was appointed as Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Local Government. In February 2020, Sunak was appointed as Chancellor of the Exchequer by then-Prime Minister Boris Johnson. As Chancellor, he was tasked with navigating the UK’s economic policy during the COVID-19 pandemic, implementing measures like the furlough scheme.
