Working with Engineering Services teams throughout the Walt
Disney World® Resort, the Disney Pin Team obtained actual
pieces of Disney Attractions. Next, the Disney Pin Team partnered
with the pin manufacturer to add pieces of those classic Disney
Attractions to Limited Edition pins.

"We were delighted by the positive feedback from our Guests
about the first Piece of Disney History Collection," said
John Smith, Product Developer for Disney Pin Trading. "People
really enjoyed adding these unique pins to their collections."

For the second collection, John wanted to introduce some timeless
Disney Attractions not featured in the first set.

"We originally wanted to include the Haunted Mansion in
the 2005 collection, but couldn’t find a great piece to use,"
continued John. "Luckily, we obtained an Audio-Animatronics®
Head of a Hitchhiking Ghost. The finished pin looks great, and
now the ghost can truly follow Guests home."

A new pin will be released on the 15th of each month throughout
2006. Each pin will have an edition size of 2500.

Featured Attractions will include The Enchanted Tiki Room –
Under New Management, The Haunted Mansion, Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride,
Pirates of the Caribbean and several more for a total of twelve
pins.
