Newly available to Lladro Gold Premiere members is the magnificent Chinese Beauty, a 3000 Limited Edition piece inspired by the traditional concept of Chinese beauty embodied by a lady wearing a very typical “Han Fu”. Worth noting is the face, which according to the aesthetic customs of the time it’s small and white, with a tapering chin, long and narrow eyes (called phoenix eyes in China), and cherry-like lips.

The beautiful dress, the long hair with the headdress and the flower in her hand speak to us about an important ceremony for which she is specially dressed.

The costume of this lady is also another highlight in this piece, which is normally worn by an unmarried young girl from a rich family.
