Vectis Auctions enjoyed another significant year in 2011, during which they held 60 collectable toy auctions, with over 42,000 lots, and consistently achieved world records and high prices.

There are a number interesting auctions in the first few months of the year including Toy, Specilist Die-Cast and an interesting Tinplate and Plastic sale featuring a significant amount of Japanese and European models.

Their General Toy Sale on the 17th January includes some interesting lots especially for film and tv die-cast collectors.

Pictured right is a lot of Corgi and Dinky TV Related Cars – comprising Corgi Man from Uncle Oldsmobile Super 88 – metallic blue, early model with cast metal mirrors and ring, James Bond Aston Martin DB5 – gold, with spoked wheels and spare interior figures, James Bond Toyota with 2 x figures and Kojak’s Buick, together with Dinky Spectrum Patrol Car and Maximum Security Vehicle.

The General Toy Sale is followed by a two day Specialist Diecase sale.
