Historic blue Manchester City No.16 shirt worn by Sergio Agüero to be sold

The iconic No 16 football shirt worn by Sergio Agüero when scoring the winning goal against Queen’s Park Rangers in the 4th minute of extra-time at the Etihad Stadium on the 13th May 2012 is to be sold at Graham Budd Auctioneers on the 24th/25th May in their 30 Years of the Premier League & Sporting Memorabilia auction. The goal scored by Agüerooooo had great significance in that it secured the Premiership title for Manchester City.

Lot 284. Umbro, short-sleeved with BARCLAYS PREMIER LEAGUE sleeve badges, club crest and sponsor logo, reverse lettered KUN AGUERO, size 38in., bears dry champagne spray marks from the dressing celebrations on the front and reverse; offered with two signed letters of provenance – one from the seller which has been posted for reading on this lot entry; and one from a former employee at Manchester City Football Club, that will be made available to the winning bidder.
