Coalport SnowmenCollectables Expert Tracy Martin, has joined forces with Antiques Specialist Mark Stacey to launch their first combined sale of Antiques and Mainstream collectables.

Within the first sale there are a number of Coalport Snowmen.

“Anyone that knows me, will realise my passion for this character collectable, the epitome of childhood memories, and with the festive season fast approaching I am sure that this private collection of Coalport Snowmen is sure to be a success as it goes under the hammer.” Within the lots there are some rare tableau pieces including sought after “Hold on Tight”, “By the Fireside” “It’s a Knockout” and “Walking in the Air”. There are also many others figurines including “The Welcome”, “Just Like Me” and “I’ll Never Forget You.” There is also an advent calendar, bookend and glitter globe, along with a whole host of limited edition and general release pieces.

Tracy is a well-known contributor to World Collectors Net, Collect it! Magazine and numerous other collectable based publications. She has also appeared as a resident expert on BBC1’s 20th Century Roadshow and made live appearances on ITV’s This Morning and BBC’s Breakfast News.

The sale is the first of its kind in the Essex area, and Tracy is confident that the auction will encourage people to look to auction for picking up their collectable bargains as well as the usual sources of retail outlets, internet auctions and bootsales.

“The auction room has a real buzz about it, so for me it is not just about securing a bargain but also experiencing that auction adrenalin as you attempt to win something that you desperately want to own.”

The sale will take place at 10am on Tuesday 7th November at: The Freight House, Rochford, Essex, SS4 1BU with viewing on Monday 6th November.
