Bonham’s Design sale on November 15 will include a wide array of collectable items from the Arts and Crafts, Art Nouveau and
Art Deco periods (1860-1945)
There are an amazing array of pottery figural studies by the Chelsea potter Charles Vyse including rarities like Punch and Judy, The Circus and Club Row as well as fifteen or so other studies. Lalique collectors will find both important vases such as `Oranges’
`Sauterelles’ and `Poissons’ along with bowls, hanging lights, perfume bottles and figural studies. Most pieces are from the R.Lalique (pre-1945) period.
The sale also includes furniture, metalwares and a wonderful array of Art Deco bronze and ivory figures by master craftsmen
like Demetre Chiparus and Ferdinand Preiss.
