Montblanc Writers Edition – Rudyard Kipling (2019)

Please share on your social media

The 2019 Montblanc Writers Edition honours Rudyard Kipling. The design is part of Montblanc’s annual tribute to important literary figures and gives collectors a recognisable writing instrument associated with the author.

About the author

Rudyard Kipling (1865–1936) was the British writer of The Jungle Book, Kim and the poem If—. He received the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1907.

Pen design and identification

The 2019 edition features dark green resin and decorative details inspired by Kipling’s stories and their natural settings. The jungle theme provides a recognisable visual identity.

Look for story-inspired motifs as well as the dark green finish.

Versions and collecting notes

Examine decorative details and verify the exact edition, since colour alone may not distinguish it from other Montblanc pens.

Before purchasing, check the writing mechanism, condition of the resin or metalwork, nib where applicable, and the presence of the original presentation box and papers. Fountain pen, ballpoint and rollerball prices should be compared separately; avoid assuming every version was produced in the same quantity.
