The 2018 Montblanc Writers Edition honours Homer. The design is part of Montblanc’s annual tribute to important literary figures and gives collectors a recognisable writing instrument associated with the author.

About the author

Homer is the ancient Greek poet traditionally credited with the Iliad and the Odyssey, epic poems that have shaped Western storytelling for centuries.

Pen design and identification

The 2018 edition adopts classical architectural styling, with a sculptural profile and ornament recalling ancient Greek columns. Its imposing form makes it a particularly recognisable Writers Edition.

Classical column-like detailing and the nib design help identify the fountain pen.
