Swarovski
has partnered with Tishman Speyer Properties, co-owners of Rockefeller
Center™, to create a historic new star for the top of the
2004 Rockefeller Center™ Christmas Tree. The Swarovski
Star was designed with two different effects; it will sparkle
during the day and be illuminated at night.

The Swarovski Star will be formally unveiled and raised by
crane to set atop the tree at a special ceremony on November
16. In honour of the occasion, Swarovski is granting the wishes
of six children with life-threatening medical conditions from
the Make-A-Wish Foundation® of New York, ensuring the adage
“wish upon a star” comes true.

Swarovski has produced a special collection of Rockefeller
Center™ holiday jewellery and ornaments.
