Royal Copenhagen is keeping up its Easter traditions by launching a total of six new Easter eggs, three decorated with the loveliest of spring flowers: anemone, grape hyacinth and daisy, one with a charming blue tit and – as a brand new variant – a goose egg adorned with a poppy anemone, plus an Easter bonbonnière decorated with snake’s head fritillary.
In keeping with tradition, Royal Copenhagen is launching a new collection of Easter eggs, but Easter 2008 will be different from previous years, with the appearance of two new products for decorating spring branches or a window.
The first addition to the traditional range is not for hanging on a branch. Instead, the beautiful bonbonnière decorated with snake’s head fritillary is perfect for biscuits and chocolates or can be used as cachepot or in a window. The bonbonnière is 17 cm tall and would make a welcome hostess gift that is guaranteed to bring the joy of spring to any home.
This year’s other new product is a goose egg decorated with a charming poppy anemone. The porcelain egg is 10 cm tall and comes with a longer ribbon, which means that it will hang beautifully in a window, but can also be arranged in a bowl or dish together with the other porcelain eggs.
There are also additions to the classic range of small eggs, with this year’s motifs being yellow wood anemone, grape hyacinth and daisy, plus a new departure among the beautiful flower eggs: a charming blue tit.
All the eggs are made of the brightest white porcelain, with the shades being carefully coordinated to complement and work with each other and previous years’ collections.
