floradanicaeastereggRoyal Copenhagen’s Flora Danica has inspired a number of this years Easter Eggs.

This year’s Easter collection from Royal Copenhagen features an abundance of flora and fauna. Some of the collection’s flower motifs have been borrowed from Flora Danica, the world’s most exclusive porcelain pattern, adding to the sense of the entire collection as a beautiful floral bouquet – from fragrant hyacinth to wild clematis. Then there is the yellow buttercup, as the perfect Easter accent in this season’s hottest colour in home interiors.

The Royal Copenhagen Easter collection is, as always, both decorative and functional. The classic Easter eggs can be used as hanging decorations, collected in a bowl or displayed under an antique cheese dome as a simple, yet impressive spring statement. This year’s motifs are coltsfoot, scilla, the yellow butterfly, the purple butterfly, the lapwing and the swallow, as well as a large goose egg decorated with buttercups. The eggs are also a perfect gift idea as an elegant alternative to the traditional chocolate eggs.
