The Wedgwood Peter Rabbit Christmas plates were a Xmas tradition from the early 1980s to the early 2000s. The series of plates all featured Beatrix Potter’s most famous character Peter Rabbit in various scenes and predicaments. From 1981-1987 the text on plate was ‘ Peter Rabbit wishes you a very Merry Christmas ‘ and from 1988-2002 onward ‘ Merry Christmas from Peter Rabbit ‘.
