Both
JSA CLASSIFIED #1 Second Printing and JSA CLASSIFIED #2 have
sold out at DC Comics, just one day after reaching stores on
August 24. These issues, exploring the true origin of Power
Girl, present the first two parts of the four-issue story "Power
Trip," written by Geoff Johns and illustrated by Amanda
Conner & Jimmy Palmiotti.
DC
is sending both books back to print with new covers. JSA CLASSIFIED
#1 Third Printing features an altered version of Amanda Conner
& Jimmy Palmiotti’s cover for the First Printing, and JSA
CLASSIFIED #2 Second Printing features an all-new, black-and-white
pencil sketch cover by Adam Hughes.
"I’m
just thrilled people are checking out Power Girl," says
Johns. "She’s one of the greatest heroines in the DCU alongside
Wonder Woman, Oracle, Supergirl and Black Canary. The book has
been a lot of fun and working with Amanda and Jimmy has been
the highlight. Thanks to everyone reading the book!"
"Retailer enthusiasm for this story has been very impressive,"
says Vince Letterio, DC’s Manager Direct Sales. "It’s
great that these issues are readily available again, since this
arc serves as a prelude to the upcoming INFINITE CRISIS miniseries.
