Rowdy Roddy Piper was born on April 17, 1954, in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. A natural athlete, Piper participated in various sports during his youth, including boxing, amateur wrestling, and judo. At the age of 15, Piper made his professional wrestling debut, marking the start of his long and storied career. He would go on to wrestle for various promotions throughout the 1970s and 1980s, including the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA), Mid-Atlantic Championship Wrestling, and the World Wrestling Federation (WWF, now WWE).

Rowdy Roddy Piper vs. Hulk Hogan (The War to Settle the Score, 1985)

Rowdy Roddy Piper vs. Adrian Adonis (Hair vs. Hair Match, WrestleMania III, 1987)
In a high-stakes match, Piper faced off against Adrian Adonis with their hair on the line. Piper won the match, much to the delight of the fans, and shaved Adonis’ head as promised.
