: I am surprised that no one is mentioning that in Jan. 2009 Wedgwood was sold to an American company that has fired most of the English workers and moved most production to Indonesia. Older Wedgwood will likely increase in value, but the new stuff will be junk. Get more information by googling Wedgwood not made in England to get the Wedgwood family website.

: Double check backstamps for new items. If the backstamp says "Wedgwood England 1759" but not "Made in England," the item was not made in England. Beware and protest this move to cheapen the Wedgwood name by writing to
