The fees are high and the results are 'bargain basement' Unfortunately, if you purchased over ten years ago you may not receive the amount you paid, even if you purchased with some discounting from the seller. 9/11, Ebay, and the declining interest in 'collecting' has significantly undermined the market. I am in your situation of selling for the past 4 years. I have utilized cases in Antique Malls to do this. This generally 'costs' about 30% off the top of your selling price. The establishment charges 8 to 10% commission for selling a piece. The case rental is between $50 and $100 monthly. Some malls will charge the credit card fee (3%) back to you and some won't. I can provide more detail if you are interested in this approach. : I have a large collection of Jasperware and also the Wild Strawberries china. I am no longer interested in keeping these things, I need to downsize. Can someone recommend the best way to try and sell my pieces. Is it Ebay? I have several figurines and I paid quite a bit of money for them, I don't want to end up selling them at a garage sale.
