Hi there, yes Wedgwood has been "faked" reproduced and knocked-off since the 18th century. That said, stamps are often blurred and usually off-center. You can tell by experience but realize that items such as 70's Aquarius design (which do not sell for much money) would not be worthwhile to try to reproduce.
