Wade Panto Series 1997 Our Wade Image Gallery & News page will give details and images of the majority of all new Wade figurines.

This years club limited editions will be 'The Toybox Series' which will include a toy soldier, doll, teddy bear and clown. The 1997 figurines were 'The Pantomime Series' (pictured right). There were four figurines: 1st The Pantomime Horse; 2nd Mother Goose; 3rd Dick Whittingtons' Cat; and 4th was the Panto Dame. The Pantomime is a great British tradition which tends to confuse some other nationalities (men dressing as women, women dressing as boys, men pretending to be horses, what's confusing about that?). Hopefully, the new Toybox series will be as fun.

Wade Waterlife The Waterlife Collection began in 1997 with the Whale, the Alligator and the Goldfish (pictured left). Wade Waterlife The collection was later expanded with the Crab, the Seahorse and the Octopus (pictured right) which were released at the Wade Fair in Dunstable. Although still readily available there has been some news of the series being sold as retired. Don't get caught out and pay over the odds! If you ever have any questions contact the Wade club or post a message on our Wade message board.

Wade Specials 1997 One of the reasons Wade is becoming increasingly collectable and attracting a host of new collectors is its variability. Not constricted to producing one type of product or range, Wade can and do produce a whole host of products. This is highlighted with the 1997 special pieces, a few of which are pictured left. The Noel extravaganza moneybox, the Wisconsin Madison Mouse, the tour special Rufus (the new tour piece is entitled 'Out and About') and the specially produced Arundel Duck. Other special pieces include the Wade Collectors fair Koala Bear, Oscar the Christmas Teddy Bear, and a range of commissioned pieces.

The variety and number of limited edition and special edition pieces has led to very active secondary market. We will have a feature on the secondary market and special edition pieces shortly. Please tell us what you would like to see here. If you have any news please let us know.
