So this watch was recently on Ebay and the listing said:

Unusual Japanese Black Day/Date Swatch Watch 1991

This fully-working Swatch watch has a black face, body and expanding strap, with white Japanese numerals on the face. It also shows the day and date in Japanese. The hour and minute hands are luminous. Printed on the edge of the face is ŠSWATCH AG 1991. Impressed on the back is 1401 and 7448. PATENTED WATERRESISTANT SWISS MADE. There are no scratches on the face of the watch, which measures 1ź inches across. The black expanding strap is in excellent condition, with the word SWATCH on the back of each link.
