: You both might try Craig's List (craigslist.com). You can specify the area you live in and try listing them there, it's free. As with any online generated transaction you should exercise caution in giving out personal info, but you can do it all on craigslist.com or choose to put an email or phone # in the listing. Check it out.
: : FUNNY.  I'm going thru the same thing.  I also have about 100 different variety of plates ranging from Elvis, Marilyn Monroe, Norman Rockwell, Clark Gable, Animal, flowers, etc... All in original boxes with paper work.

: : : I am clearing out the home of a woman going into assisted living or skilled nursing home.  She has probably 80+ collectible plates from Bradford and something called Joy's Plates.  She also has LOADS of Elvis Presley items.  Everything is in "new" condition; the plates are in styrofoam boxes and most have the shipping info accompanying them.  The Elvis books, I don't believe, have been opened (they were simply packed away).  There are posters, albums, etc.  I need help in figuring out how to sell these items without using eBay.  I hope there's someone out there that can help me with this.
