Lilliput Lane have announced more details for the 2008 Annual Fair. The fair will return to Shugborough hall, the first time it has been held there since 1990.
We are very excited to announce that the 2008 Lilliput Lane Annual Fair will see us making a return visit to Shugborough.Shugborough was the venue of the second lilliput lane fair, way back in September 1990 — that’s an amazing eighteen years ago!
All of your favourite Lilliput Lane ‘must-dos’ will be there, such as Paint-Your-Own and Cast-Your-Own (we have created some fabulous new models), plus the production exhibition, showing how we create a Lilliput Lane cottage.
There will be new faces and some old ones too (even some staff who were at the 1990 Fair!). All of us will be there to talk to you about any aspect of Lilliput Lane Cottages and your collection.
You will be delighted to hear that David Tate MBE (and his wife Sandra) will be attending on both days, and that David will sign any purchases made over the weekend*. We are also hoping to have a display of some other favourite collectable ranges as well (but this is yet to be confirmed). As ever, a host of mix and mingle entertainers are being lined up to keep you fully entertained over the weekend.
Your ticket gives you unlimited access to all areas of the Lilliput Lane Fair and Shugborough Hall; all gardens and grounds, servants quarters, the farmyard — everything! So you’re in for a very busy time indeed.
*David will only be able to sign items purchased on either day of the 2008 Fair.
This excludes any purchases made in the Swap and Sell area.
