Swarovski presents Disney® with a one-of-a-kind Mickey Mouse

On April 9, 2005 Disneyland® in Anaheim, California, hosted a special invitation-only breakfast to celebrate the global launch of Swarovski’s new Disney® Collection of figurines and jewellery. More than 100 Swarovski and Disney® enthusiasts took part in this magical event.

Shelly Fiumani of Disney®, Director of Licensing Art & Collectables, welcomed the Swarovski U.S. and Global management team lead by Daniel Cohen, President of Swarovski U.S. Holdings, and Robert Buchbauer, Executive Vice President of Global Consumer Goods. Daniel Cohen and Robert Buchbauer welcomed guests, signed special certificates of authenticity for the figurines, and posed for pictures with Mickey Mouse himself!

In honour of this brilliant collaboration between Swarovski and Disney®, Swarovski presented Disney® with a one-of-a-kind crystallised Mickey Mouse. This stunning figure will be publicly auctioned off later this year as part of Disneyland's® 50th Anniversary celebration. It was designed exclusively for Disney® and was produced with 28,333 hand-applied Swarovski crystals.
