DC Direct have announced the release of a Limited Edition Batman Black And White statue based on the art of Marshall Rogers and sculpted by Ray Villafane. The statue retails at $80 and is set for release on February 17, 2010.

One of the greatest of all Batman artists, Marshall Rogers' groundbreaking work in DETECTIVE COMICS, collected in the BATMAN: STRANGE APPARITIONS trade paperback, helped create the foundation on which the Batman of today is built.

In this statue, Rogers' haunting portrayal of the Dark Knight captures the intensity of Batman in a classic style.

The statue measures approximately 7" high x 6.5" wide x 5" deep, is painted in monochromatic tones, features a Bat-logo-shaped base and is packaged in a black and white box.
