World Launch Of New Wedgwood Collection At Harrods

Wedgwood Portland Vase Lord Wedgwood is to unveil an iconic new collection during a signature event at the world’s most famous store.

On September 12th he will be on hand to meet visitors in Harrods, Knightsbridge, to personally talk about the company’s new Prestige Jasper Collection, which he will officially reveal to the public for the first time at 12 noon.

The collection, which highlights the hand crafting skills of Wedgwood’s famous artisans, brings new contemporary colourways to stunning archive statement pieces, launching the company once again back into the forefront of archetypal English design available to the modern consumer.

Jasper, originally developed by Wedgwood in the 18th Century, has been a continuing favourite with customers for more than 200 years. Exciting new colourways now joining the stable of traditional hues include a subtle and sophisticated white on taupe and a fresh contemporary white on turquoise.

Contained in the new Collection is the ‘Dancing Hours’ plaque, now brought right up to date in a modern new setting, a re-launch of the beautiful Portland Vase first manufactured in 1789 and an exquisite Arabesque Tea Set manufactured in blue and turquoise.
