If they're worth it, netsukes can be repaired - a lot of older netsukes show evidence of being repaired; but they probably need to be collectible-quality (e.g., market value over $1000 or so?) to justify professional repair (and I don't know who does such repairs). You could probably do simple repairs yourself with "super-glue" or epoxy - if you are careful enough, you might manage to do the repair so that it's more or less invisible except under a microscope.
