My Blue Nose Friends

The My Blue Nose Friends range was launched in May 2008 with characters and friends from the world of Tatty Teddy. The collection of figurines, cuddly toys and a growing range of other merchandise have beeen an enormous success. In the first six months of production over 1 million My Blue Nose Friends were sold.

The My Blue Nose Friends range introduced a brand new collection of animal characters, all with patches and little blue noses, and all in the same style as the Carte Blanche's most famous teddy superstar Tatty Teddy.

The first six friends in the series were Patch (No. 1), Kittywink (No. 2), Blossom (No. 3), Dilly (No. 4), Toots (No. 5) and Binky (No. 6), As of start of 2010 nearly 50 characters have been created. Every character has a name, number and personal profile.

Tatty Taddy is the creation of artist Miranda (alias Mike Payne). Tatty Teddy was the first character drawn by Mike Payne for Carte Blanche Greetings in 1987. Miranda has now become one of the most established names in the greetings card industry, and his creations can be found in nearly 60 countries across the world. His other creations include Charlie's Ark - this is about a five year old boy and his "Ark" toybox which contains his plush animals and that come alive in his imagination.
