Hello Moorcroft messgaeboard,

I would like to know peoples thoughts on Moorcroft!

is this pottery worth what retailers are asking?

i have been to many shops up & down the country & even the shop in staffordshire itself & i am amazed at the high price reatailer are asking! £100 for a small round dish!!!!! etc etc i would really like to ask collectors is this pottery still worth money?

I have also done lots of searching on Ebay which i would not buy from as am too scared of being done! but i have seen on there that the piece up for auction go for very little compared with shops! & some things do not even sell with very low prices why??

i am a bit confused to what i should buy if anything, i do not want to waste little money i have on pottery.

another thing that i dont understand is second & graded pieces, are these not the same quality? why should these be so much lower in price than first quality, does it still not go through the same production by the same decorating team in the same factory????

so the question is really "is Moorcroft worth it"

any thoughts from collectors would be a massive help.
