: sounds like you have been given a nice pair of Moorcroft mugs, both designed by Sally tuffin who used to work at Moorcroft pottery in the 80's both designs are long retired now, both are certainly worth a bit of money , not a lot but i would certainly do a bit more research about them, have you tried contacting Moorcroft pottery, 

: Moorcrfot mug are often made for open weekend now aday i have several of these in my own collection and the prices are normally over £100 per mug so hold off on the latte for now!
