The 2005 Halloween offerings for those keen to purchase a modern timed, or limited edition collectable, range from Beanies to Horses, and Cats to Witches.

Breyer, the leading manufacturer of plastic, porcelain, and resin model horses, animals and accessories have launched Phantasmac, the fifth horse in their Halloween series.

The magnificent Phantasma is pictured right.

Beanie Babies are always fun at Halloween.

This year there are four new Beanie Babies - Ghosters the Ghost, Merlin the Cat and the bears Hocus and Pocus (all pictured right).

There is also a Hallmark Gold Crown Exclusive Prunella (pictured left).

The Krinkles range designed by artist Patience Brewster continue to impress.

Her quirky collection includes 15 new Halloween related items.

Disney Stores in the UK seem to have their best range of Halloween merchandise ever, including lots of Nightmare Before Christmas products. However, these have only made it to the stores and do not appear to be on the Disney Store UK web site.

New Halloween Beanies include Vampire Stitch and a range of Nightmare Beanies featuring Jack, Sally, Ooogie Boogie and Lock, Shock and Barrel.

Other Nightmare toys include a Jack Skellington Tea Light, a Lock, Shock and Barrel snowglobe and various mugs, cups, pens and notepads.

Annalee HalloweenThe first Annalee Halloween mouse appeared in 1978 and since then the Halloween theme has always featured in the Annalee collections.

There are a number of new introductions for this year including Trick Or Treat Witch Mouse and Trick Or Treat Bat Mouse. Other Halloween pieces include Flying Witch and Ghostly Gathering.

Lorna Bailey Artware always produce a number of Halloween pieces and this year is no different.

The new selection includes 17 editions: three limited edition cats, two limited edition vases, a limited Ghost Teapot (pictured right), a limited edition Spider Sugar Shaker (pictured left), and 10 other timed editions editions featuring four cats and six teapots.
