: : I'd like to clothe my 1951 boy doll in his original knit sailor suit and cap, however, I can't locate information for a Quiz-kin except in reference to those made in 1953.  I bought the doll Christmas, 1951, my last doll.  He has one button on his back and one on his tummy.  He is not marked except for "Pat.Pend." on the bottom back of his head.  He's 12" and looks identical to the 1953 dolls which were smaller.  Does anyone have any pictures or dolls from the same Quiz-kin production?
