: Any idea where I can purchase LLadro replacement boxes? LLadro- USA used to supply them, but not any longer ( I checked today). Any reference/information will be appreciated. Thanks. ***************** Hi Lara, long story short, it's been a few years since Lladro has offered replacement boxes. When I was last able to get some they were giving away generic boxes. They would ask you for the figure number if it was still in production or the dimensions for retired pieces and then ship boxes from Moonachie NJ. While nice to have, these boxes are not necessary as any good box will suffice for most figures. Intricate groups with particular packaging inserts and mechanisms are another story. Personally I have found that for flowerwork and most Lladro a firm new box overfilled with styrofoam peanuts does the job for storage, additional double boxing works well for shipping. There are some pieces I wouldn't trust to anything but hand carrying. I remember from my childhood watching my uncle open packages newly arrived from Spain, in the early years figures had appendages and fingers tightly wrapped in coiled tissue paper and the boxes were filled with straw/hay like wooden fibers. There were no packing inserts on those early pieces and that straw/hay deteriorated over the years. Good luck and let us know if you find any more info. You Rang?
