: I have been told that retired figurines signed by the founding brothers and their siblings/relatives (and others of note such as Buzz Aldrin on a limited edition figurine) don't add value when sold; however, in my opinion, I'd rather have a signed figurine when available vs. the unsigned version and probably would pay more for it. What is the general opinion? **************** Hi there, I can only speak for myself, I do cherish a signed piece as a kind of souvenir of a time and place but from the market standpoint I don't see a difference in value with or without a signature. I would not pay more for a signature just because it's there. I value the souvenir aspect of having met/seen the person sign it.
