: : I inherited 4 Lladro pieces. I am trying to get a value on them and 
: possibly sell them. 2 are damaged which I asume will lessen their 
: value. The pieces include 2 nuns (white, unglazed approx. 1977-1984) 
: 2 nuns (blue, head of 1 nun reglued approx 1971-1974) dog approx 6" 
: x 6" approx 1960 -1970 (this I understand to be a rare piece) and a 
: 20" tall gentleman in tophat holding an umbrella, with woman holding 
: a dog (top of umbrella missing). Any help in assesing value or 
: identifying pieces would be appreciated. Photos can be provided.

: Hi can you give more details or better yet a picture of the dog?  Note 
: that in assessing value to these, the broken pieces will get you about 
: 25% of the insurance replacement value, the nuns are not very 
: desirable so should get you 40-50% of the insurance value but the 
: dogs are generally quite desirable and should come in at 70-80% of 
: insurance value.
