Insurance value is Replacement or Retail Replacement Value (RRV) defined as: The highest price in terms of cash or other precisely revealed terms that would be required to replace a property with another of similar age, quality, origin, appearance, provenance, and condition within a reasonable length of time and in an appropriate and relevant market. For current, open edition Lladro you will want to take the Manufacturer Suggested Retail Price (MSRP), add Shipping and Tax as applicable to your home state to determine RRV. You may obtain MSRP from the official Lladro website web store at http://www.lladro.com/index.jhtml . For retired Lladro you will want to obtain values from a reputable secondary market source such as Janet Gale Hammer's A Retired Collection website. If your collection includes items valued at over $5,000 your insurance company may require a qualified appraisal. Regards,
