Lenox Classic Message Board Posted by bob on June 02, 2006 at 01:33:17: I have two vases carrying the American Belleek (Lenox) palette mark (1906-1924), and a two-line rubber-stamped mark, over-glaze, reading: M. T. WYNNE Both vases are Lenox oriental forms, covered in a solid color glaze. Was M. T. Wynne one of the Lenox factory artists? I find one reference on-line to an M. T. Wynne, New York that apparently "prepared" colors for china painting. However, it seems odd that, if it were this M. T. Wynne, that their name would be stamped on the piece over-glaze. Can anyone shed any light on M. T. Wynne?
