: I have a Jim Beam Dodge Hot Rod Decanter that was given to a Regal China Employee as a gift from the company when they closed their doors in 1992.  I listed the car for sale on Ebay.  I was contacted by another seller saying the car is a "repaint" because it's hunter green and Jim Beam doesn't have a car this color.  I've talked to the employee who owns the car, they said it's possible that they ran "test" cars to see how colors looked before they sold them.  This car WAS NOT repainted by just anyone, this car NEVER left the factory in any other color but this one.  After they were painted, they were fired in a kiln to get the shiny finish.  Any ideas if this car is worth anything?  It has the box, the box shows a yellow car.  The car inside was taken out for photos only and put back in.  It never was filled and the gold label was never attached, it still has the original backing on it.  I was told by this other seller that someone else from my area had just sold a car this color and was reported to the police.  I have emailed the current Ebay bidders about the situation.  Is this car worthless?
