While cleaning out my grandparent's house we located what may possibly be an original painting by M.I. Hummel. My grandparents lived in Germany in either the late 1940's or early 1950's so it is possible they acquired it there. I have found out that the figurines are based on Hummel's paintings but haven't been able to find anywhere that evaluates these paintings. Are there any resources where I can verify if this is an authentic painting?
