We purchased two large Hantel collections over the last 18 months in order to obtain some of the rarer pieces and some unusual colourways of pieces. We have been selling off the doubles for over a year now and have found that the commission pieces, HCS pieces and limited edition items have gone very well. The membership gifts do not seem to have gone quite so well and things have slowed down generally in the last couple of months. The prices of the regular pieces seems to be dropping and people do not seem to be willing to pay out the prices that they used to pay for the items, maybe people are unsure what the value of Hantel will be and are a bit worried about paying out too much for it.

You would probably get very good prices for any rarer pieces that you have got (from the Hantel addicts!) but if you do decide to sell then the regular pieces would probably not fetch too high a price. Also with the Hantel discussion forum down some people who have just started to collect may not find their way here, so the audience that anyone selling to on this forum may not be quite as large as the audience on the Hantel forum.

Personally I am not worried at all what happens to the value of the Hantel as we love all of our pieces and are happy just to enjoy them!
