Hello Handbag Collectors,

I'm selling a lovely vintage emerald-green satin dress purse with an Art Deco flavor. Gold-tone frame with reeded snap clasp. Pink satin interior with double pocket. Made in the USA by Coblentz, the fashionable handbag company founded in New York in 1935. Fold-over clutch style, carry open or folded. Simple, classic silhouette in a striking color.

Very good condition. No tears, pulls, or holes. Stitching intact. Some spotting and discoloration in exterior folds where frame rests against fabric and around base of interior pocket.

Interior marked: "Coblentz Original"
Mid-20th century
10 L x 10.75" W (bottom), 7" W (top)
Interior pockets: 6.5 W x 4.75" D, 5.625 W x 3" D
