I have a bear without the ear button that is very old and is stuffed with some type of wood pulp or shavings ,I saw one exactly like this on the Antiques Road Show, what year could this bear have been produced? I have a Steiff lion, length 35cm excluding tail, a red hand-stitched nose, and with an ear tag measuring around 5-6mm diameter. Have attached some photos.

I’m thinking of buying a Steiff animal with No 656026. What is this, please? It is brown, furry with a long muzzle and droopy ears. It’s not a ’standard’ type teddy.
